A new firmware update is now available for the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
This firmware update has the usual bug fixes etc. However it also states to improved touch screen interaction and battery life. In addition to this it also has item which Surface Pro 4 user requested, and have been waiting for, for 18 months.
With this update you can now use the Surface Dial on screen. Just like the Surface Studio( and the latest Surface Pro).

- Surface Dial Filter v1.1.11.0 enables on-screen support for Surface Dial.
- Surface Digitizer Integration v2.0.313.0 enables on-screen support for Surface Dial.
- Surface Touch v105.0.106.8 enables on-screen support for Surface Dial and improves touch accuracy.
- Surface Touch Servicing ML v1.0.821.0 enables on-screen support for Surface Dial and improves touch accuracy.
So quite an impressive update.
